In supporting the 2018 Asian Games and to attain the target travel time for the participating athletes from their accommodation to the required venues, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta through the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency along with Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya and the Jabodetabek Transportation Management Agency (BPTJ) will expand the odd-even traffic restrictions areas. A trial will be conducted on certain roads in DKI Jakarta Province, with the following traffic arrangements:

2. Plan of implementation:
- The odd-even expansion trial will begin on 2 July until 31 July 2018.
- Implementation of Odd expansion will start on 1 August 2018
3. The implementation time of the odd even expansion trial is as follows:
Time of the odd-even expansion trials:
- Day: Monday to Sunday - Time : 06.00 AM to 9.00 PM (for 15 consecutive hours)
- Odd plate vehicles can be on the roads on odd dates, and even plate vehicles can be on the roads on even dates.
4. The alternative routes during the odd even road expansion trial are as follows:
a) From the east - Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan – Jl. Suprapto – Jl. Salemba Raya – Jl. Matraman - etc.
Jl. Cikampek Toll road access – Jl. Sutoyo – Jl. Dewi Sartika - etc.
b) From the north - Jl. RE Martadinata – Jl. Danau Sunter Barat – Jl. HBR Motik – Jl. Gunung Sahari - etc
Jl. S Parman – Jl. Tomang Raya – Jl. Suryo Pranoto/Jl. Cideng - etc.
c) From the south Jl. Warung Jati Barat – Jl. Pejaten Raya – Jl. Pasar Minggu – Jl. Soepomo – Jl. Saharjo - etc. - Jl RA Kartini – Jl. Ciputat Raya – etc.
5. Only these vehicles are exempt from the odd even regulation:
b. Vehicles of visiting Heads of State and Foreign Officials as well as International Institutions as state guests;
c. Operational service vehicles with service license plates, Athlete and Official vehicles specially marked for Asian Games;
d. Fire department;
e. Emergency ambulance;
f. Vehicles providing emergency assistance in traffic accidents;
g. Public transportation vehicles (yellow plate);
h. Vehicles transporting oil and gas;
j. Vehicles for other purposes, according to the police officers' considerations, such as money transporting vehicles (of Bank Indonesia, between Banks, ATMs) with supervision from the National Police.

7. It is advised for road users to follow the rules and regulations, traffic signs and officials, as well as prioritizing road safety.
